Product Description This baby-sized easel brings out a little one's creative genius while keeping baby mess-free. The special "goop" surface is not only fun to touch, it "magically" responds by rewarding baby with fun music and colorful designs. Baby can draw with fingers or the four drawing tools included. Music starts when the surface is touched and stops when touch is removed. Or press the musical note button to hear three lively songs play. Prop it up, lie it flat or carry it anywhere. And when new inspiration strikes, slide the roller bar to erase the screen for a fresh masterpiece. Requires three "AA" batteries, included, and three "C" batteries, not included.

It has pro's and con's December 26, 2008 Heather M. (Ohio) This product has its pros and cons. The music is catchy and fun for my daughter. She likes the feel of the squishy board. She likes the different shapes and pushes them on the board. The downside is that you do have to press a little harder to make a picture and it doesn't erase as easily as you would hope for. You have to roll the thing back and forth multiple times. Overall, my daughter likes this toy though. I wasn't able to find it in any stores near me, only online. If I would have seen it in a store first, I would have probably still bought it.
Good concept, Poor execution August 18, 2008 Kelly Powers (GA) My son got this when he was about 8 months old. He is now 15 months old and still has no use for it. This toy says that it is for babies, but you have to push really hard for it to work. What baby has that kind of finger strength? My 3 1/2 year old does better with it, although she gets very bored with it too. Very hard to "erase." And when other kids come over, all they want to do is walk all over it, and I am afraid they will puncture it and we will have a blue, oozey mess!
need stronger fingers January 21, 2008 J. Tung (new york, new york) love the design and how the toy works, but practically speaking, kids have to push pretty hard to draw with her fingers, a bit unrealistic for toddlers
Okay December 25, 2007 Charmaine Tilly (Castro Valley, CA) We had one of these for my daughter four years ago and that one seemed better made. This one, it is very hard to erase the drawings, you really have to push down hard. Same with using the shapes on it, you have to exert a lot of pressure. Buy them a magna doodle or aqua doodle instead, they will have more fun with it.
Great toy, playable for years! January 11, 2006 Busy Mom (Brockville, On, Canada) I found this Easel excellent for my son at 11 mos, and even now that he is 4 he still loves it! My 18 month old twins have been playing with it for almost a year and it keeps getting better! They had no problem drawing on the gel, and the music is a real bonus. We have even used it with older kids as an extra pictonary board, to play, drawing-charades.
