First time using an electric tuner, novice guitar player December 25, 2008 J. Lee (Chicago, IL USA) I read a recommendation to buy this tuner on a review for the guitar I bought "Jasmine by Takamine S35" and so I went with it. I didn't know a thing about tuning without a tuner (although I have learned by now) so I figured I'd need it. Even though I know how to tune without a tuner, it's WAY easier to use the tuner. Red lights will tell you sharp or flat. The needle goes up or down as the sound changes so you can see where you are and how far you need to go. Green is when it's perfectly in tune. The best part is how it auto-selects which note: I didn't know the strings for a guitar were EADGBE from thickest to thinnest, but the Korg picked up the right notes automatically and I was in business right away. Cheap, fast, easy to install the AAA batteries (push the indents in the side and lift the entire back off) and it's so easy to use. Just put it near your guitar or other instrument and play. There's an input for electric instruments I guess but I have an acoustic so I just use the mic. Shipping was a bit slow but it was the X-mas season so you know, can't do anything about it. Plus, that's not the tuner's fault, it's GREAT!
A must have to tune any instrument December 25, 2008 K. Saal (PA USA) Bought this handy product to tune a 19-string celtic harp - it works exactly as described, tuning the harp quickly and accurately. The illuminated display is easy to read and is a great feature. An excellent value for the price; highly recommended.
Works perfectly from my application December 12, 2008 Ron Mccray (Colorado United States) This product does exactly what is stated in the description and at a very reasonable cost. I use it to check the notes made by Tibetan seven metal bowls and it is perfect for that use. I am sure it has many other applications for musicians and singers.
great value, everything you asked for in a tuner is here November 27, 2008 R. Rodriguez For the price, this is a great buy...actually I got 2 one for the studio, one for the road. Cannot beat it.
Great Product November 16, 2008 B. Spiker (East Lansing, MI USA) Korg is awesome, had 3 of these buggers stolen and keep buying them because they rock and they are cheap! Fast Shipping - will do business again.
