4 out of 5 stars The Fray got ripped twice at the Grammys   December 6, 2008

What a rip-off, The Black Eyed Peas, REALLY? Grammy has proven they know nothing about music by stealing two away from the FRAY and giving them to hack bands. While "You Found Me" is, like other reviewers have said, not groundbreaking, it is a solid new song from the group that gave us a truly groundbreaking work with the "How to Save a Life" cd. I found this song to be a second tier Fray work, a notch lower than "Over my head", How to save a life", etc. but on par with their other work which up to this point is about 5 times better than almost any band working right now. So don't whine about how this isn't the Song of the Year, because even if it was, the American Music Awards would just blow it again. Bite me Grammies- really, The Black Eyed Peas. Grammy you suck!

3 out of 5 stars The Music Gets Lost In The Lyrical Finding   November 29, 2008

After their surprisingly massive success with "How To Save A Life," AC radio is still feeling the after-effects, as the album more or less defined the genre. So how do you follow you AC masterpiece? I must admit, the task is far from easy. They start by expanding on their trademark piano rock, and again tackling the theme of finding lost people wondering in the world. Lyrically, it may be unoriginal, even for the band, but it does do its job. Issac Slade's vocals also sound as good as they ever did.

Unfortunately, "You Found Me" seems to have lost the flair that made "Over My Head" so well-done, and "How to Save a Life" so poignant. Instead the song comes out a bit tiresome, and overly boring. Sure, there's nice lyrics, but this song quickly wears on you, and I see myself despising this song a few months from now.

So, if you like what you hear on the radio, then by all means pick it up. To me however, the song disappoints, and provides yet another sleepy moment on the radio. Positive and Forgettable all the way.
