Excellent little gadget and speedy delivery September 30, 2008 G. Werner (Canandaigua, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very impressed with how quickly the delivery was. It works perfectly especially if you do not want to go out and purchase the special Nike sneakers right away
Great accessory for the Nike+ September 16, 2008 C. Thomson (Lake Stevens, WA) I'm not a big fan of Nike running shoes, but I like running with Nike+ on my iPod. I needed a way to keep the sensor on my shoes, and tucking it into the laces just wasn't cutting it. It's not only convenient for that, but it has storage for the plug when you're not using it....

I received this product as a Christmas gift. Ever since then, I ran about 2 times week. I would put the RunAway on before and take it off after each run. It worked successfully for about 9 months. On the last run, I was going down a hill. While going down hill, the RunAway opened up on me. The Nike + Ipod Sensor and the top piece of the RunAway left my shoe. Luckily, they were later found on the side of that hill. My girlfriend uses a Marware 7613-KCBK Sportsuit Sensor for Nike and iPod Sport Kit (Black), and has been using it for as long as I have been using the RunAway. It also is cheaper. I guess I am going to buy one of those now.
The most convenient shoe adapter available September 4, 2008 M. Brown (Tucson, AZ) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I now have about 300 miles on the Switcheasy RunAway and it has been flawless. Its best features: 1. Easy to take on and off shoes in an instant. Just pull and turn to unclip from your laces. Yet it's quite secure as it locks on. 2. It has an easy access button so that you can turn your sensor OFF when not in use to save its battery. The marware doesn't do this. 3. comes in many crystal colors to match your shoes (perhaps not really important) 4. the newer 'crystal' version is a slight redesign which is more secure, rugged and easier. 5. comes with a cap for the ipod adapter, that fits snugly in the RunAway for easy storage of the whole nike+ipod gadget. I tried running with the sensor under the footbed, but that didn't really work, and I'm not a Nike shoe guy. So, this clips easily on to my Saucony and Brooks running shoes. Yeah!
BEWARe-- not secure! August 6, 2008 jennsan11 (so cal) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The sleek, good looking design attracted me to this product, but unfortunately it lasted all of about a mile and the top piece (along with my Nike plus transmitter) was gone. I guess I should have put some tape around it to be sure, but I figured it was designed for running and didn't expect it to break open so easily! Now I'm out $30 for a new Nike plus :( Don't let it happen to you!
