Product Description
Being bad never felt so good- After being jilted by her former master, Jane Porter looks to end her year-long celibacy by attending a bondage-themed event. Thanks to her ex-boyfriend-s stunning betrayal, she isn-t looking for happily-ever-after, just a master who-s willing to explore the depths of her passion and teach her what the BDSM lifestyle is all about. Antonio Villareal was a wanted man. Single, rich and good looking, he-s on the hunt for a submissive to share his world. The moment he sees Jane on the arm of another man, he wants to possess her body and soul. The only problem is; Jane makes it clear she isn-t a forever kind of girl. Can Antonio convince Jane to give him a chance? Warning: Graphic sex, bondage scenes and the use of masks.

only worth it because it's free September 3, 2010 amf0001 (New York, NY United States) You know when you pick up a magazine in a waiting room somewhere and read the articles in order to pass the time, and are reasonably pleased if one of the holds your attention long enough for you to finish it? Well that's the sort of 3 star rating this novella gets. Yes, all the words are in order, they make reasonable sense (though why Jane swore a year of celibacy and how her friend can work professionally with these people and act the way she does is never explained) but this is not enthralling or hot or anything much, just passable. A weak OK.
Jane one minute acts like an experienced sub, and the next she's hesitating over the simplest of tasks. She doesn't really work as a character and I have no desire to actually buy the next two books and see what happens next, there are enough cliched characters and situations here... this is common tale retold without wit or warmth.

Aside from the fact that this isn't a book, only a few chapters, what I read did not impress me. I thought the sex scenes were immature, dramatic (in a bad way) and unrealistic. In my opinion, the writing was only fair. The whole thing made me think the author was just writing a story of her personal fantasies without personal experience.
seducing jane porter August 24, 2010 janice like so many i was shocked it was not a book, but it was free, so i did go and get the other 2 on line. I have been into the free books, but i enjoyed this book and was not willing to let the story end. and what is a couple of bucks per book.......
Truly good! Impossible put down. August 22, 2010 Ann McJilton (Wellsville, KS) This book was fantastic. Like many readers of erotic romance, I have read both good and bad books, but this book, and the other two books related to this one, are all very well written, spellbinding, and quite easy to lose oneself in. I eagerly purchased the other books in the Jane Porter trilogy, and read them all in no time. I highly recommend these books (Educating Jane Porter, Reinventing Jane Porter and Seducing Jane Porter). I read them all, one after the other, since one book was not enough to fully immerse myself in the story, but three books worked perfectly. OK, I admit it - I didn't want the story to end. It was easy to imagine myself as the heroine, which I think is the mark of a talented author. If you enjoy good erotic romance, these books are worth your time. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Educating Jane Porter: A Jane Porter storyReinventing Jane Porter: Jane Porter Series, Book 3Seducing Jane Porter
So Misleading... August 10, 2010 Empress Susi (Paradise, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The writing style is something I could get into, I can identify with the lifestyle. I had been looking forward to reading this "book" for a few months, waiting until we were at our cabin on vacation. I gave the book 2 stars for the deception! This NEEDS to be repackaged with all 3 parts as one book and sold as such for a similar price as the authors other books (about $7) with the option to download a "sample" which is what this first free part is. Because I was in a remote location for 10 days I did not have Whispernet or computer access to purchase the other 2 parts. I could have found a way to do it, but honestly I was too irritated with the author for this silly behavior. What is the point (other than to mislead your readers & leave them upset with you?) I made due with many of the other books I paid $8-$14.99 for. The content IS GOOD, so I'm still considering the buy.
